England have suffered a major setback before the first Test against India. His young batsman Jack Crowley has been ruled out of the first two Tests of the series due to injury. The England Cricket Board has given this information by tweeting. Jack Crowley recently scored 267 runs in the Test series against Pakistan. An information batsman’s exit from the opening two Tests is certainly a big setback for England.

Who has been included in the team in place of Jack Crowley, the England Cricket Board has not announced it yet. However, it is largely expected that Ollie Pope will compensate for them. Jack Crowley slipped while changing clothes outside the dressing room at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. He had a wrist injury. He was sent for a scan on Wednesday night. After the scan report, he was dropped for the first two matches of the India-England Test series. Significantly, Jack Crowley also had his birthday on 3 February.

Crawley’s scan report has not revealed a fracture, but he has sprained his right wrist and is also swollen in the area where he was hurt. According to the England Cricket Board, he will remain in India and will reside while staying here. If his injury is cured and he is fully fit, he can be seen representing the England team in the third and fourth Test matches of the series to be held in Ahmedabad.

Earlier, the England Cricket Board had said that Crowley did not participate in the practice session on Wednesday. He fell outside the dressing room and his right hand wrist hurt. We are awaiting the scan report. Important decisions will be taken before the final practice session to be held on Thursday.
